I got my first AG catalog when I was around 5. I wasn't even allowed to look at them until I was eight, which was because my parents had brought one in (we had been put on the mailing list by a family friend) and set it with the mail to be sorted through. little me popped up and grabbed the magazine and noone was none the wiser until I asked for one for christmas! Eheh. I didn't get one that year, or the next, but in time...

Josefina is pretty exceedingly cheap generally. You could probably get one for... $35-40 on ebay in the summer. Samantha might run you $80.

If anyone has any sewing experience, I have all the old clothes patterns they used to sell as well as a couple other patterns. If nothing else it's pretty good nostalgia, back when the company encouraged crafting :)

Felicity was just retired, you probably shouldn't look for dresses until the summer at latest, because there's still a bit of a rush on her stuff.

totally nostalgia-ing right now, btw....i remember asking for molly for awhile before i got her...used to pore over the catalog every time it came in the mail.
