I am currently trying to assemble a FansProject Bruticus.
I am aware that I am horribly late into this, and any "normal" Bruticuses are marked up severely because EVERYBODY (more or less) wants him.

Now, I am seeing quite a few sets on ebay, with the two FP guys and the three base guys in a package.
What is considered a fair price for this?

Also, if I go the route of simply buying each "limb" seperately, is there any of them I should...stay away from? Anyone that just...looks horribly bad?

Any help would be appreciated

Considering you will pay 120 for the two FP pieces, and boxed Bruticus' go for upward of 150... well, you get the idea.

As far as my personal plan, I have purchased the add on sets, and am actively looking for the pieces at Goodwill, yard sales, and flea markets. As far as I know, there are no "bad" pieces. the alternate blue Barricade from Energon is probably more "show-accurate" if that's what you are going for, and the only weird recolor is the blue and purple helicopter.

Show accuracy isisnt my deal much, I just dont want to end up with like...a flaming pink arm or something weird like that.

Actually, that looks like the Superlink version. The lighter green tank is actually green instead of that greenish-yellow that the Energon version (Blight) is.
Still, I don't think the helicopters were noticeably different. Barricade(/Onslaught) is of course slightly more G1 in color on the Superlink version.
