Alright /toy/. I'm going to be honest here. I couldn't give a fuck less about that one faggot customizer who everyone's obsessing over anymore. I don't give a god damn either way (although I've never liked him or his customs). And seeing as how there's two fucking threads about him on the first god damn page let's do something different for once in /toy/. Let's talk about some fucking toys god damn it. This thread is about your most favorite toy that you've ever owned. You don't have to still own it. You just have to have loved it more then any other toy in your collection or childhood.
Picture related somewhat. It's not the one I own but is a stock photo.
For me that's G1 Megatron on both counts. As a child I used to run around my house pretending to shoot my family and friends with him. And as an adult I pined for him in good condition. And unplugged since US law is retarded. One day when I had extra cash I saw an ad on
Walmart.com for him and it didn't mention a plug and I figured I might as well take a chance. I ordered him and Encore Prime and waited.

The shipping package that Megatron was in (they put them in separate boxes for some fucking reason) had been ripped open and resealed. Most likely because it was x-rayed and looked like an actual gun. Now I couldn't tell if the toy had been opened or not because the water logged toy box just kind of came open.
I panicked and set the box in front of a fan and proceeded to inspect and play with my toy. While the box is badly water damaged (it dried but is misshapen) the toy and contents were still mint. At first I was pissed because of this, but I was going to open him, apply the decals and regress to my childhood anyway. And to be honest for an unplugged Encore Megatron I didn't give a fuck about the box so long as it was the toy I wanted.
That's my toy and it's story. It should be interesting to see what everyone else has to say.

G1 Grimlock. I don't know about favourite, I didn't really have a favourite toy. They were all awesome in different ways. But Grimlock was definetly the toy I wanted more than any other when I was a kid, for a long time too. But there was no way as a kid so young that I could understand that Grimlock hadn't been out for a good few years at that point (we were already onto Pretenders). I must have driven my parents nuts over finding him. And they were good about it. They tried similar or related Transformers, like Action Master Snarl or Snapdragon. And I was always grateful for any new toy. I had a shit-ton of toys as a kid because my parents used to buy me a lot because of my little sister. She was a difficult child so she needed alot of looking after and attention, so I generally kept myself occupied. They weren't neglectful or anything though. But I'm digressing. I really wanted a Grimlock, and god-damn am I lucky I'm a Britfag because the Dinobots got reissued in Europe in 1991. Fucking adored that guy. Got Animated Grimlock now. He's awesome too. But a lot of what I like about him is what I liked about G1.

My favorite toy is the Taran-Chewa from the Attack Pack line. I really love it, until one day my mom gave them away to some relative's kids because I'm too old to play with toys. I still miss it very much. :( I even built a similar toy out of Lego...

Here is one of my new favorite toys SoC Raideen with what was my favorite toy as a child G1 Smokescreen. That is actually the Commemorative Series reissue Smokescreen. I don't have my G1 version any more. It eventually broke basically from playing with it too much. I played with him all the time and I took him with me practically everywhere but school. I remember I was really sad when it broke.

This bad boy. When I got him, he was like, the bestest transformer ever.. despite not looking anything like the related character on the telly. Then Robotech started showing on the TV - 1 toy for 2 series! Awesome had a name, and it was Jetfire.

Brave Maximus. I have ALWAYS wanted any iteration of Fort Max ever since I saw him in that shiny little catalog I got with my Hun-Gurrr. When I found out he was coming out as an FAO Schwarz exclusive back in 2002, I immediately preordered him on BBTS. Alas, this was not to be. Sonokong came to the rescue a year later and I finally had my childhood dream. to this day, he remains the centerpiece of my collection.

Anyway, for me it was always G1 kup. For some odd reason, I loved him and his toy more than any other transformer on the show. He is also the ONLY transformer that I still own today from when I was a kid, though I'm missing his guns.

This was the last toy I remember as being my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. Later on in life I've had like, multiple favorites I suppose, but nothing I carried around with me all the time. It was this. I guess it was a mcDonalds toy or something? But I fucking loved trains as a kid and I didn't get too many toys. I don't know what it was, but when I was four this was my absolute favorite thing, apparently. I lost it when I was playing with it in the sand one day. I buried it, my mom called me over, and then when I came back to the sandbox I couldn't find it at all. I know it's pretty lame compared to all these transformers and fancy playsets and stuff, but after that toy I don't really remember anything anything else as being my favorite toy. Oh well.

>>325196 I hope so. I'm a girl and I really didnt have licensed toys as a kid. All my favorite toys were stuffed animals. Though if I had to pick just one favorite that had a brand it would be Cotton Candy, one of the original My little Ponies. I recently bought a vintage one on ebay, as my original is long gone and trashed anyway.
