I'm not familiar with Kamen Rider really except that I've acknowledged its existence for a long time. It's always been one of those things lingering in the background that I haven't seriously investigated. I figured /toy/ might be the place to inquire given the frequency with which I see Rider threads. Plus my interest is largely connected to the fact that I think I might want some Rider figures, but I refuse to get merchandise of franchises I've never experienced.

My inquiry is two-fold: (1) is there a particular series or movie I should start with to get into the series, and (2) what are some good Rider toys/lines?
