The Busou Shinki line is customizable chicks with interchangeable mechanical armor suits/weapon systems, right?

But with the prospect of rubber boobs like Yoko.........no, no, I think I'd rather just have a more accurate Samus.

Her suit is too thin in certain areas to make a removable suit and have it look good. You're better off making two different figures, one in her suit and one without.

That wouldn't so much be the problem. The problem is the way the arms/legs go inside the suit. With a real suit you can have articulated elbows with arms inside them. You can't do that with an action figure so easily, especially given the weird angle her arms go in, look at how broad her shoulders are.

If you look at stuff like cast off riders, they only have armour on one side. When you have the limbs entirely encase it's hard to cover up the arm underneath, you need some kind of rubbery material(which i wish they'd use more of for certain thing).

Yeah, more toys should use the rubbery stuff. You can see good use of it in higher-end Eva and Patlabor kits, and it works great when you need a smooth-yet-flexible figure.
