Hi kids.

I'm going to a fancy dress party as Ash/Nondescript Pokémon Trainer.

Question is, where do I get a convincing Pokéball toy? Pic related. Or, if anyone could suggest an alternative and tell me where to get it, that'd be great.

Halp /toy/, google/ebay/various toy sites have bought up nothing.

Burger King used to have a life size Pokeball that even opened up. Only thing is the bottom was slightly smoothed and there were two wings so that it could stand by itself. The wings could easily be dremeled off though, and the flattened side is barely noticeable.

I think the Jakks Soft Poke Balls are the most accurate renderings I've seen on the West Coast for sure. However, they're soft (foam) and don't open/close, so if you need something more mechanical, they won't do. But they certainly look the part.

They make these small pokeball keychains. The pokemon is removable, and the keychain is attached to it, so you can just have the pokeball by itself.

They open up and everything, the downside is that they're kinda small, which I guess is okay because I remember on the show they would change sizes.

I had what the OP image has, it's one of those BK Pokemon things. I don't remember what I did with it; I either gave it away or threw it away before leaving for college.

That was stupid. I had all four and could have made a small mint selling them.

Hey OP, mexifag here. A few months ago a candy brand here in Mexico started selling boxes which included some assorted candies and a (life-sized?) Pokeball. Maybe you can get someone to ship it from Mexico, or contact a retailer.

Mine's a little beat up since I use it everyday as a decoration for my messenger bag. Not underage b&, everyone at college always ask me why am I taking a Pokeball to school.
