Yea the rubber suit probably does make the PG Eva-01 a quick PG kit(not the greatest though). Its in four sections; torso to knees, arms from elbow to wrist, knee to ankle, and ankle/foot. Since the frame is covered mostly once the suit and the pieces needed are attached. It seems the deatail is minimalistic to make it sturdier and more durable to quick/constant posing.
Now you have to forget all that if you get the "Limited Edition" Metallic Paint PG Eva-01. Since for this kit the Murphy's Law quote is its motto to live by. The MAJOR problems with it are that the rubber suit on this one is WAY thicker than the original, and makes it harder to get on the frame; and actually causes it the break the armor where it attaches to the frame. Said frame has parts in a sort see through plastiv like the torso, that can break while putting on the suit. Lastly the main pull for the "LE" Eva-01 the metallic paint armor really weak unfortunately, and cracks severely.
I've had both versions and out of the two the original was better and lasted longer than the "LE". Buying the "LE" to replace the original, I did'nt know I would have that many problems with it only for its left leg to crack, break off the shelf and fall COMPLETELY destroying the waist, torso, remaining leg, and helmet armor pieces; AND the left arm at the elbow. This could've been freek coincidence, but I'm waiting for a store in Toronto to get the original this time.
BTW if there are any regular model shoppers of Toronto than point a store or shopping center that has an original that can cut the waiting time greatly for me!
