Right now I’m going thought all my lego by making every set that I still have the instructions for and putting them in plastic bags. The Star Wars sets will be kept together but I’m thinking of just mixing all the other sets parts ie; town, castle, pirate, space, aqua, ect. And I’ve already picked out all the mega blocks and Tyco bricks. All the Lego guys are in 2 of these boxes.

why do you even have mega blocks

I need something to put them into. Right now I've been sorting them into tupperware containers but I don't have enough and I need small things, like a tackle box or something. Picked out 99% of the megabloks and other bricks. I'm torn between keeping my new sets built and having stuff to make stuff with, so I've decided to look into buying bulk lots on ebay or something.

All my legos are in diarray around my house, in old clothes boxes and stuff. Should def organize them. I have mega blocks too-present. They don't fit together right.

Op, Right now I've got 1 18-gal. Rubbermaid tub along with 3 10-gal. tubs with everything in general disarray that can go in my closet but I also have 3 large under the bed boxes that aren't being used for any thing useful so I'm trying to decide if shallow & wide or narrow & deep are better.

Everything jammed into one giant 27 gallon tub, except the baseplates, though that's a recent thing. What? Half the fun of lego is the hunt. And the blisters.

Everyone's in an old school steamer trunk. Its about 2.5 x 2.5 x 4 feet and about 2/3rds full. Has a little insert shelf that sits on the top were I keep all the little shit pieces, special parts and minifigs. Haven't opened it in years since I no longer have the floor space to get into it, when I do open it it only takes about 2 days for half the pieces to end up all over the floor. Nowadays I just buy smaller sets, put em together and display em on a bookshelf or something. Once I'm out of college and have a non-shit job I'm going to dedicate a whole fucking room to my house for this shit.

OP's pic was my very first LEGO set. It was a gift from my father on my 5th birthday. I took one look and was hit with a nostalgia rush that made me move back on my chair. Because of that set, I and my brothers and cousins have been forever enveloped in the limitless possibilities that LEGOs have. My kid nephews from California just moved in to Chicago, and I planning on dropping over 150 bucks for them on Wii accesories. Fuck that, I'm giving them something that will never get replaced: LEGOs. Just wanted to share that. :|

I had one of those things in OPs pic Except mine was red with three compartments. I believe it held 500 pieces. Can't remember exactly though.
