You can thank me for that, actually. When I was 10 ('94), I wanted to design models for them really badly and sent in a bunch of illustration ideas for a Wild West line, recommendations for set names, etc. A month later I got all the material back and a note thanking me for my idea but they have the Futura team for coming up with new sets. Then, 3 years later (the average time it takes a Lego set to evolve from design to release) they come up with Wild West. They changed a few things around (the bandit hideout and the mine were seperate sets in my notes) but the smoking gun was that "Sheriff's Lock-up" was a name I sent them. I sent in another letter thanking them for using my idea but they responded by saying they had no idea what I was talking about. Part of me is pissed over it, but I really have to give them kudos for the dynamite idea. Way cooler than anything I had.
