When those knowing scientists talk about plastics and foams not decomposing, they're talking about how they won't break up into their seperate elements.
It DOESN'T mean they'll retain the shape that they've been formed into for thousands of years.
Plastics are too soft and pliable to retain a shape if they're left outside.
Just so you know, CDs and DVDs (they're made of a rigid plastic) will warp if you don't store them standing up. So if you want your archive of porn and music to last a lifetime (50+ years), don't store them flat since nothing is really flat and level.
So what hope do our figures with limbs and other pieces that dangle from its body stand if a flat disc can't retain a shape?
