HOLY FUCK. I've been trying to remove the planet bits from Universe Unicron's wings (like the instructions say) for twenty minutes. Is there a trick to this? Is it a really necessary step to transforming him into planet mode?

The first time you remove the pieces it will be very difficult. After that it should get easier simply because the pieces will have worn a bit.

Each planet-chunk is held to the wing by a big fat peg with a split through the middle. Try to press the two halves of the peg together and that should help you remove the chunks.

His name is Megazarak, which is the Japanese name of Scorponok. However, here in the West, there was a character named Megazarak (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Megazarak), obviously named after the Japanese Scorponok, but a distinct character. In fact, our Megazarak is an alternate universe version of Tank Megatron.

So, yes. He is a funky version of tank Megatron.

Energon Unicron was pretty cheap bendy plastic so you could just rip em off quite easily. Even though the instructions tell you to - you don't actually have to remove the planet halves to transform him.
