Ever since TF: Animated first came in stores, I have saved every toy packaging. Not just for TF:A, but every single toy since. Hell, even stuff that isn't /toy/ related like boxes from art supplies I buy and such.

My closet is fucking packed, but I just can't throw them away for some odd reason. Would packaging ever be worth anything? Mine aren't torn because I just use a knife along the tape and such.

Believe me. I do the same. It came to a time when I have them throw away.

what I do is i cut away the plastic bubble, tray, threw them away, and just keep the backing card and whatever inserts it comes with.

I only keep those intact that I thought it would better protect the toy when moving or storing. Especially transformers.

I had the same problem as you, but i realized how worthless they are and started throwing them away (it was really because i had run out of space).

Now i only keep GI Joe and Star Wars backs.

I used to RELIGIOUSLY save backing cards as a kid. At some point, my mom bought a big binder and filed them all into sheet protectors for me.

Nowadays, I don't really hang on to packaging. Except for Revoltech boxes, for some reason. I just can't bring myself to throw the damn things away.

Well one of the reason I keep mine is that they all look similar, therefore they look like books for one awesome library of TOYS.

Boxers i left them as it is. You can slip in all the backing cards you collected to save some space and won't feel the boxes are taking up spaces as much as leaving it empty.
