Just wondering if anyone has a Perfect Grade kit would you get the lower grade of that same mobile suit?
Just finished the one pictured and have a PG Zaku II, and I've found their MG versions Strike IWSP $42 and Zaku II Ver 2.0 on sale for $25.

I don't find kits at these prices often at a store not in the Pacific Mall, so don't know If I'd just be wasting time really...

Zaku 2.0 and Zeta 2.0 are actually better than the Perfect Grade versions. They lack all the extra panels and light-up gimmicks, but the proportions and range of motion are far superior.

Also I saw a friends PG Zeta, and was dissapointed in the ease of movement proportion(the torso ir 'bloated' when i look at it). So I got the 'LE' Zeta Gundam; I think its the one Amuro uses in one of the evolves a while back and love this colour scheme the decals/stickers were a pain though

You should check out Anime X Tream in Downtown, Toronto. There somewhere in the Spadina China Town. There slow at getting new stuff in, but they have some pretty good prices.

I ended up getting MG Freedom for about 54.99 before taxes from them

Since it seems OP got his questions answered then I have some. How good are the Ver.1 Zaku MG and the Gouf Custom? On the GH side of things, 1/100 HG Luna's Gunner Zaku, construction any good? Goes it look like the image when completed or is there painting involved?

The one in the image was probably sanded and seems to have its seams filled with putty or something(as all photo finish model pictures are). Not too sure about the paint as they aren't shown in the same light.

I assume it's been sanded or blued if it's a official photo like every thing. The only Seed HG i ever build was the 1/100 Redframe Astray which is practically an MG kit and awesome. Seeing the runners really help, seems fairly accurate to me.

Well, the Zaku ver1 was the 2nd MG Bandai ever produced. Just wanted to know if it's elbows where weak like teh Gundam or if it's decent enough for display. Since I'm a cheap bastard and didn't want to spend $45 for the Ver2 for something not too much better than the first one which can be bought for $24.

No, the Ver 1's elbows are not weak, I have a Char's J-type myself. The little tab in the beck of the head that's supposed to turn the monoeye is too stiff when taken stock (plus I'm not sure I was carving the nubs off yet when I built it) so you'll want to loosen that. Leg and foot movement is a bit restricted, but the elbows are actually quite nice, triple jointed even (hinge-swivel-hinge).

OP here again, to the poster about Anime Xtreme. I had actually was gonna get the PG Strike Rouge from them, and even had them put it on hold. Just could not find the dam store that day. Had to leave to get back for work, but I'm headin there again on a day off.

Hopefully its still there, if not I'll get a replacement PG Wing Zero I think they had one last I called...

For the 'LE' Zeta Gundam(Not sure if its actually a regular kit now, sorry) I got kinda lucky when my local comic shop took a chance on gundam model kits and Fix-Figuaration, Zeonagrapy figures. Unfortunately I only picked up the Zeta, and missed G.F.F. Gundam Mk II, and Metal composite Casval Gundam(even if it was $124 CAD)...

FYI Zeta is the worst PG around, period. It's just terrible. Some even say the HGUC is better.

The old MG was even worse but they recently (last year?) released a new one that's tons better.

PG Zaku II is alright but MG 2.0 is just plain awesome, get it.
