You are lucky. In my experience kids... no, make that adults too, who aren't actual Transformer fans will ask "Can I see it?" then take the thing by one appendage and just shake it back and forth trying to "make it work".

Then they flip the half-transformed mess back to you with an "I can't get it" while they turn away. By the time the word "it" is out of their mouth, they've already forgotten what they were doing a second ago.

Continuing on the other post's theme. I've had adults at work want to argue over the name of Transformers their kids are looking for. "Do you have Sunscreamer?" "I think they're looking for Starscream." "Are you sure?" "Yes" "Lets ask the assistant manager that just walked by cause we think you're a blood liar!" "Ok, I've only been a Transformer fan for nearly 25 years and know you're either asking for Starscream or Sunstorm and the only character with a current character children would even fucking know about is Starscream cause Sunstorm's a fanwank character based on an animation error in the first or second episode of the original cartoon, sure go ahead and question me you fucking redneck."

Ok, I think I had to vent.

It's this reason why I'm annoyed at people who think Transformers are stupid because they can't figure it out. Like let's say Unicron or that Death Star Vader. When I was a kid I had an Ultra Magnus but no Optimus Prime. But every kid in his right mind wants Optimus, so I actually had to pretend the white robot inside Magnus was Optimus. A sad story.

So my question is: did you lend them a Starscream? if not, consider maybe these kids wanted to play with the awesome chinmaster himself and you've only let them down, breaking their hearts.

A few weeks ago, the kids of my dad´s ne girlfriend visited us. They asked me, if they could rent a few DS games from me and which I would recommend.
I said he should take "Super Mario 64 DS" and that it was just like the original "Super Mario 64".

He then asked me what "Super Mario 64" was...

FFFFFUUUU...my girlfriend had to pull me out off the kitchen so I wouldn´t shout at the boy.
