I just received my Zanki & Ibuki pack.

The diecast parts on Ibuki fall a lot and while checking articulation (rotating the hands and switching them) I notices one of Zanki's hand rotated quite easily (SIC are pretty thigh once unpacked) suddendly FUCKING SNAP.

The other set of hands (Ibuki and Zanki's) are fine and quite sturdy, I just checked them, maybe it was a factory defect.

Anyways, how can I fix this, /toy/?
Is there a way to remove the ball joint without damaging the figure? is there a brand of superglue or a method to keep that hand usable?

The same thing happened recently on my Hakaider's shoulder joint. The peg snapped and the ball joint was stuck inside Hakaider's arm.

What I did was I took 2 needs of different size, an heated the smaller one on a fire to make holes on either sides of the broken peg. Once the hole was deep enough, I used the bigger needle and cut it to an appropriate length then JAMMED it into the newly made holes/sockets on the broken peg and glue it in. Left it to dry for a day to be safe and now it's working like new.

Pic sort of related, I hope any of this makes any sense.

Thanks, it makes sense, the deal is the interchangeable hands, I don't want to be stuck to the base hand, especially when he comes with his guitar, I'll see what can be done.

I also have Hakaider but he's fine so far, was your Hakaider the Hakaider+Bike pack first issue or classics reissue?
I have the classic reissue, the only deal I have with his is some small piece that suddendly fell off, I seriously don't know where or how it goes, maybe in the elbow or something.

It's the classics reissue. I think some SICs are just wonky out of the box, probably because of previous manhandling in the factory or something. I only tried to move the arm and noticed how "loose" it was, and it has lateral shoulder movement! I was pleasantly surprised, then unpleasantly shocked when it came off.

The method I mentioned earlier, if you're careful keeping the glue on the peg only, you might be able to pull it out once it dries and cures and everything. But if you don't want to risk going through all that just to have it come off again when you try to remove the hand, you can perhaps try fishing the peg out first.

Once again, this involves a needle, and fire. And something to work on the melted plastic. WOO HOO FIRE! Bend the tip of the needle a bit, just a little bit. Alternatively, you can use a fish hook. Then heat it up, jam into broken peg, and quickly push the plastic that has melted and is coming out the sides, covering the needle. One it dries up, just use pliers or something and pull it out. Then you can even use the needle in there as a base to glue back the hand!
