sup /toy/ Target had a sale on the Star Destoyers for $60 for Black Friday and Saturday and I managed to nab one, 3rd one left on the shelf too ^_^ I saw someone lugging around a Millenium Falcon set, need to say, i was very envious, too bad that set wasn't also on sale. Anyways, 6 hours later, not even done with the first book, which means i am not even half way done ahahaha. P.S. Took photo with the Kodak MX1063 also from Target for 90 bucks ^_^

Yeah, opened up at my Target (that's 6 a.m.), but thankfully was cart attendant. Yeah, those Star Destroyers were just about flying off the shelves. (personally, still holding out for the Ultimate Collector's Series version if they still make it)

Anyone from Europe here who knows good places to check on sales? I read someone got the collector's AT-ST for 50 Euro instead of the usual 90 at toys'r'us, but I don't have any stores like that near me, so online places to check would be great Lego store itself has the grievious model priced down to half and I'm tempted, but then I really don't want that model for itself, but only caus it's a good deal and I'd probably not put it up on display.

>>341425 you mean a sale on that one? being from 2002 are they still around at all?

this set comes with alot of cool features: -lasers that fire -working escape pod (when you push on the red dumbbell it launches the pod out and out of the bottom of the ship -weapon storage area (nothing special, just a sliding door) -darth vader capsule... ...thing... ...and a crane to remove the helmet (imma have to get some grip tape because it can;t hold onto the helmet worth of shit) -palpatine holo block -trigger holds in the deck, really cool -access to deck via rear door. Two things i don't like about this set though, doesn't have a fucking stand, and it desperately needs one. And secondly, the panels fall off easily. Right now i have it laying on my chair.

If you decided to get the service pack for plate stability from the LEGO company, the set would have a whole lot more playability with swoosh-ability factored into it now.

I saw one guy this morning, I think he bought every fucking one in the store. I'm actually surprised he fit that many into one cart.

It would be best to call LEGO's customer service as I had done. The whole service pack addition is a precarious situation because it really-almost always, pertains to the first release Star Destroyers. Later releases have a revised build/lay-out for the base of the model.

The Vader meditation chamber crane gimmick does work as displayed. However, you need to learn how to adjust the pieces to grip the helmet properly.
