Just back from the movies and checked out the best store in city to buy any /toy/ related stuff.

The Figma Kanu Unchou was there but I nearly choked with the price. 40EUR (~51USD). Gah.

I also saw some gundam kits with english packaging. They generally any good?

in a good European import store, you shouldn't be paying more than 30 euro, decent price would be around 25 (a little bit higher)

english packaged gundams, probably from Seed or a few older HGUC, while those models were good for their time, the current engeneering is a lot better

Once I was toy hunting I found Figmas with no price tags... I went up to the counter to see it ring up as $77.90. Holy fucking shit.

Yeah. Wasn't going to buy it at that price. If I end up getting it, I'll probably order online. But it's always such a hassle.

I was just wondering about those kits, since they seemed to be reasonably priced (expensive still, but not along the figma-prices) and I might want to do a few. I guess I'll buy one 1/100 scale kit to practice for my 1/60 Big Scale Freedom Gundam which is waiting on the shelf. :)
