It's like a black hole, my family's nickname for such people are "lost souls" :P
The gross, old, crusty brits that come for sex on the other hand are affectionately referred to as "road kill".

I've seen this happen to the most promising of individuals.

So, if you come here, hands fucking off, just to be safe (these girls are desperate as well, they want money, they want to get out of their situation - they will use every estrogenical trick in the book to try and ensnare some unsuspecting foreigner - they are exceedingly good at it, judging by the number of incongruous foreigners I see walking around these days. )

I'm not OP. If you're really in Thailand right now, would you please take and post a picture of the slums outside your window?
I'm not asking for proof, I'm just really interested in seeing what it looks like.

thailand is a fucking 1st world country. i didn't want to take pictures of poor people but in burma (esp. yangon) there are shantytowns on the fucking traintracks and around are houses made of random metal pieces, hell the whole city is a shantytown.. but it looks kinda cool, because of british colonial architecture, i saw a deserted giant church monastery thing, with overgrown grass & shit everywhere and people living in the church halls

i spent a while rebuilding houses there. Holy fuck is this true. but the people are great the food is amazing and everyone wants to know who you are. It's amazing there. Granted it is fucking depressing.
