Hey, /trv/,
I've been invited to a wedding this summer which is evidently taking place in a little coastal town in Oregon called Yachats, of which I had never heard until I got this letter. Looks pretty enough, but it also looks like it's in the middle of freaking NOWHERE--like two+ hrs' drive from Eugene, OR nowhere, or a ten+hr drive from my house (SF). So my questions for you are these: Have you ever been to Yachats? If so, how did you get there, from where, and how long did it take? Is it a nice place? A phenomenally expensive tourist trap? Something in between? Any advice welcome--trying to decide if it's worth it to go or not. I like the bride quite a bit, and she flew cross-country for my wedding, but at least my wedding was less than an hour from an airport. Picture very much unrelated.
