Hey /trv/, my girlfriend is planning on going to study in San Francisco and I'm going to go with her. I really don't know what to expect and I'm very nervous because of the change in environment. I currently live in a suburb in Michigan and before this I lived in the countryside.

What should I expect when I go there? How should I go there? I have a car but I don't know if I should take it or sell it and take a plane. I do love traveling and I would not mind driving but I'm not sure what the smartest idea is.
