Well what are you interested at? Tourist traps, or something more specific? I'll try to give you some advises outside of usual travel routes.
First of all if you seriously plan traveling to pripyat you should start seriously planning now, also you should be aware that chernobyl is active quarantine zone supervised by military. Therefore there are only handfull of people who can legally get you there, and as for foreigner it's your best option. Tours that are sent there are quite specific in time, and they happen not more than once a month, maybe even less. Also you can get private tour from them, but it will cost around 500$. Radiation safety should not be taken lightly either, main concern is radioactive dust and "dirty" spots. If you wont break of the guide or group you wont get much more than in high altitude flight. If you wonder for example into cemetery there it would be best not to have own children after that. BUT If you overcome all of this it can be one of the most truly insightful trips of your life.
In Kiev you should visit (tourist traps) pinchuk art center, ww2 memorial[pic],Lavra,Andreevsy spusk, peyzazhnaia alea, pirogovo. Also сhristmas ornament factory and green theater. (If you'll find them). Sevastopol - Ukrainian or russian sub tour, port,Ayu-Dag and lots of castles. Not much else. Simferopol - sea, expencive, low service. not much to see. better go somewhere else. Odessa - Pier, Freighters, April fools parade, war museums with old mil tech. Lviv. - See it all. Better spend your simferopol days here. It will remind you of prague, check out market square, cemetery, and pretty much everything else.
