I figured this was the worldliest place to ask.
My mother's maiden name is Konigseder, there are not many of us in the U.S.
Mostly in Arkansas and the Great Lakes region seems like.
Does anybody know if this surname is prevalent in Germany or hails from a particular region of Deutschland? A google search reveals several street names, mostly in the central region, though supposedly we come from the German/Dutch border region and are just as much Dutch as we are German.
