What are your travel goals/dreams? My honest to goodness dream is to travel the world endlessly, making cash by taking labor jobs, under the table work in restaurants/bars, busking and some shrewd sails of souvenirs to naive backpackers. The occasional luck-out in gambling would also be appreciated. By these means, I'd circle the globe 'til I'm an aged man capable of telling amazing tales. Then I can act as an Obi-Wan or Gandalf style figure from some kid with the same dreams as myself...ah, the circle of life.

Mine is similar with traveling the world without a real end in sight. I have a house in land in one part of the world, so if I really want to go back there some day, I have that option. I'm interested in acquiring multiple citizenships. I believe that to progress toward a world without borders, we first have to dissolve those borders internally. Having multiple citizenships is a way to stop seeing yourself as a person of just one land and start viewing yourself through a more global lens.

I want to experience different climates and live in countries for the length of my visa. All I really need is for them to have Internet, so I can work. Learning more languages is also a goal. My life is simple, because I don't want to get married or have a family. So, I can focus on the things that I really like - eating delicious food and fucking hot people, for example.

Ah, you just reminded me of one of my less pure desires whilst travelling. I would love to bed fascinating women all over the world. I'm talking geisha and himba and the likes.

My only moral trouble with this little fantasy is that it stinks of western imperialism. I can just imagine some stereotypical british soldier saying "Gufaw, chaps, I just had me own off with one of the local meat! Lovely jubbly!", and that's the LAST thing I intend.

I mean, who am I to go around trying to get with these girls and then flee on the breeze and continue traveling? It just seems a little unfair to them, even though it's something I'D love.
Still, I don't think some scruffy lookin' vagabond is likely to get with a geisha anyway...well, we all live in hope.

I'm probably the last person to be giving out "moral" advice, because I don't subscribe to that slop; however, if your intentions are pure, what's the hold up? You're not responsible for the actions of your ancestors. If you don't go into the interaction thinking your going to conquer some foreign cunt with your colonial cock, you'll probably be fine.

Also, if you don't fuck them, someone else is going to. I've found honesty to be the key in these interactions. Just tell people how you are up front. Within 20 minutes of meeting me, a girl knows that 1) she's never going to marry me 2) nor am I going to give her babies 3) I'm leaving in a specified amount of time and 4) I'm not into monogamy. If she accepts these things, then fine. If not, it's not like there's a shortage of people wanting to shag a foreigner. Whatever wild fantasies they construct about you two together forever living in a castle with ponies and rainbows and pets and candy are hers and you're not responsible for whatever expectations are smashed to dust.
