It isnt that bad. My brother went to KU and and its actually a nice little place. I've been there a few times and it certainly isn't all plains and rednecks as you probably heard on TV.

all in all, you're probably being a little dramatic over this.

Yea Kansas is fine, honestly. You won't get paid anything when you get a part time job but nobody in town will mess with you even if you are a bleeding liberal. I have never been to school in New York, but you're more likely to run into non-trad students in the middle of the country IMO.

Kansasfag here. It's not that bad at all. I mean, no, it's not as exciting as New York, but it's really nice in its own way. It's quiet and open. A good place to chill out. Much more laid back than the east coast. The air's a lot cleaner. It's definitely not so boring that you should turn down a full goddamn scholarship because of it.
