I can't remember any place names, but here's some general advice:
Try some real Southern food. Freshly drained turnip greens and thin batter fried okra. You may have to go to a Soul Food restaurant.
Real bar-b-q cooks for 24 hours, and the odor hits you hard at 50 yards. Thus, these joints tend to be set off by themselves and not part of a strip mall. You can Google that because there are bbq nuts who travel across states looking for the best food and then write about it.
If you're the titty bar type, go to an expensive one like Sammy's. Bring $5 bills.
Florida has been a tourism state for a century. Take advantage of Universal them park, Disney, see a manatee in Homosassa, take a scuba lesson, go out on a whale spotting boat, air boat ride the Everglades, take a mud truck ride through a swamp, kite boarding or kite skiing or sail boarding, and various less interesintg tourist places like St Augustine and Kenendy Space Center and sunset in the Keys.
In neighboring states there's a WWII battleship in Mobile and active goldmines in Georgia where you can buy sand and maybe find a nugget.
As for meeting women, they mostly go to bars like Seville Quarter and wait for some slick dude to hit on them. Or church.
