It was described to me as a "poor man's kabuki" and involved lots of singing, dancing, and humor. It was particularly entertaining because it gave traditional Japanese theater a modern flare. Sorry this 2min clip doesn't do the whole performance justice (btw anyone know the name of this style of theatre?).
