So, I've decided that one of my goals in life is to be a professor of foreign language, specifically French. Going to college soon and I'm pretty dead-set on studying abroad in France. I've been there once before, for a week, but it was mostly already planned out tours of all the museums and historic places in France, which made me yawn and wish I had spent the money elsewhere, because I didn't pick up much except that theirs dog shit everywhere in Paris.
I'm 19 now, hopefully this study abroad thing will work out. Stereotypical interests include Wine & Cheese, Biking, and acting snooty. Other interests include city life, lounging around with nice strangers/friends, you know, just living in general and having a good time.
Specifically, I wanted to ask where would be the best place to spend my time in France, what your experiences were when you visited, how and where to live cheaply, and where the educational benefit is.
/trv/, you're my only hope! (Well, lets pretend at least.)
