Looking at apartment rentals for Hong Kong on Craigslist, I've been finding a number of incredibly cheap apartments in the Mong Kok and Sham Shui Po areas. Usually around HK$2000-3000/month (US$260-390) and 100 sqft.
However, they also don't have any pictures of the units. So, for anyone familiar with HK - I'm wondering what they'd be like inside? Are they dirty and filled with cockroaches and shit? And would they be more likely in the older buildings typical of the area, or newer "commie blocks"?
