how does /trv/ feel about groningen? i'm (hopefully) doing a semester abroad there in the spring, but being from the states i speak only english :/ how do the dutch feel about americans, and what can i do to dispel any bad feelings? claiming to be canadian (my strategy last time i went abroad) won't work, as my exchange program comes through the university of south carolina -_-; am i doomed to be shunned, or is it possible to redeem myself by acting like a mature adult and falling into as few stereotypes as possible?
