I'm in Regina, Saskatchewan for a week for business and I have 7 evenings to spend. What are some good places you would recommend? Any local specialties? What is there to do after hours? How's the nightlife?

Where is downtown Regina? And is there something I can take directly to the Market Square area from the airport?

Calgary has nothing either. Edmonton has a mall with a roller coaster, pool, bungie jumping, etc. in it.

I've lived in Regina for 20 years.

It depends what you're into, and how old you are. Ohanalan's is a good pub with a mixed crowd. It gets lively on Friday and Saturday nights. Give Bushwakker's a try for good pub food, Zest in the Science Centre for lunch, and Houston Pizza for the best Pizza you'll ever have.

I have no idea what the Market Square is. You can get downtown by taking Lewvan down to Saskatchewan Drive.

The Pump is good on Fridays, The Drink on Saturdays.

Viet Thai
The Freehouse
Moxies
Brewsters

Check out the new RCMP Museum, it's pretty impressive. There's always something going on in Wascana Park/the Legislative Building.
