I asked this in /jp/ already, but didn't get much more than some amusing wasp pictures. I know it's a fairly Japan-centric question, but if anyone can help, I'd be greatly appreciative.

I'm looking for a good place around Kanto to pitch a tent. My girlfriend and I went to a campsite around Okutama last time, which was nice, but I'd like to strike out on my own and find a nice spot next to a river where I can enjoy nature alone.

Any suggestions?
