I'm a woman--in b4 NO SUCH THING--who wants to spend time traveling the world, but mainly alone and not with some male escort or something. HOW DO I NOT GET RAPED? I'm American but I can consider myself fairly attractive.

Eastern Europe/Russia/etc. interests me the most. Also Turkey/Greece/Italy.

This. Keep in mind, however, that this may not apply under certain circumstances, like some dark back alley or mountain road. Also, pepper spray. It's technically illegal to possess in Turkey, but you can obtain it and the police won't give you shit for it unless they especially feel like being jerks.

Eastern Europe - Safety depends on the country. Czech Republic, Poland are ok, Hungary and beyond is a little bit more shady.

Greece/Italy - Mostly safe
