And not really. If you're considering moving there, then I'd have to assume you at least know the basics of the place. (like cost of living, climate, etc.) And the economy is still fairly healthy, so getting a job should at least be easier than in the US, even if it isn't as good as it was a few years ago.

Canada is arguably more diverse than the US, or at least just as. More immigrants, more non-Christians, more Asians and Natives, just not as many blacks and Mexicans. And he mentioned Toronto which is even more disproportionately diverse, with only 1 city in the world having a larger immigrant population (Dubai), over 200 nationalities, no ethnic group larger than 11% (Chinese), etc.
