I have plans on learning both German and French but my problem is that I can't decide on which to learn first.

With German I have a friend who is from Austria that could help me but I heard the grammar was difficult but the pronunciation is easy.

With French I don't have any friends who speak it, and I heard the grammar was easy but good pronunciation is difficult to achieve.

So which should I go with?
