However:
Objectively good editing: Doesn't have jump cuts, clearing the frame, match cuts, graphic cuts, j and l cuts, clips have a rhythm.
Cinematography: Harder for me to break down as it's my worst skill, I'm no DP. But look at the lighting. Hot spots, contrast. Is the background distracting. Use of practicals (is it used well or poorly)
Mise en scene: Even harder to break down. For me, as a film maker, good mise en scene is something I wouldn't have thought of. Something like, oh wow never would have put that there, or lit from that angle. Or that composition. That wide or close. And that is kind of a weak argument. And it seems subjective, but really it's like a gut feeling. And the more informed you are, the better gut feeling you can have(?)
I realize you can argue this. But I appreciate your argument, and can't fully disagree nor ever prove you wrong.
