>>15817043>What's wrong with /lit/? I've only been there a few times, but it seems like one of the better boards. They don't really talk about literature is the main problem with that board. Talking about something like Dostoevsky is somewhat popular, but then that's really only due to it "sounding" good. They probably don't know of any other Russian authors from the same time period like Pushkin and feel like they're smarter for talking about guys like Dostoevsky or Tolstoy.
Going there now, there's a thread with the OP image, one on punctuation, Nietzche (another popular smart sounding author rather than anything new in the last decade or so), a Dostoevsky thread again, a "let's post what we're reading and not talk any of it in detail thread", another favorite book thread where people post what they like that usually gets filled with Dostoevsky and Tolstoy and such, and a few comic book pages.
Really it's just the same old crap day in and day out, which is why that board sucks ass.
At least this board can help you find something new to watch now and then and we get some nice discussions going about the strengths and weaknesses of a lot of films.
