So im moving to uk in few weeks

im extra poor (eastern europe) so i usually torrent my movies. So i want to ask what law has to say about torrents in uk? completely banned for all providers or just some? also why the fuck internet there is so slow and expensive, my country is probably worst country in europe and my internet allows me to download my movies 8 mb/s while paying 10 euros a month for it, and the best uk has to offer is shitty 1mb/s for 35 euros. what the fuck

Also, I don't know anyone here in the UK who has been done for piracy, so you should be safe.

Used to get 4.5mbps, now I get 3mpbs. I do live in terraced housing though and once all the old people died and the young people moved in it was ROUTERS, ROUTERS EVERYWHERE!

im talking about ACTUAL 8mb/s while downloading in torrent. 8 MB's A SECOND.

that 1mb/s for 35 pounds is 100mbps.

My friend has Virgin cable (which is only available in extremely select locations around the UK) and he gets about 30-40mpbs on a good day. It's like £45 a month.

Hardly anywhere in the UK actually has access to Cable internet anyway, so you'd be lucky.

well i found some adds on the net so i thought those were accurate

Plus I torrent non stop without any protection without so much as a warning for about 5 years.

Uploaders are targeted more then downloaders so I just leech.

Worst comes to worst and you get a warning just say you had unprotected wireless they can't prove anything.

because our copper phone line telegraph pole system is ancient as fuck and nobody gives two shits about replacing it. Unless you live in a shithole like London or you get lucky and live in one of the random countryside towns that fund their own cable internets, it's a real gamble whether you can get it or not.
