I haven't seen Barry Lyndon, Lolita and Spartacus out of those.

Lolita is the most watchable of those. Barry Lyndon is absolute shit. I can barely believe Kubrick did it. Spartacus is just a generic cheesy 60s hero movie. Not very Kubrick at all. I don't even consider it one of his movies.

You're even stupider than he is. It's not surreal in the slightest. If anything it's the most realistic scifi film ever made. Everything about the space travel was deliberately made hyper real and accurate to modern physics.

Yeah, the trip/light sequences, long moments of pure blackness with disturbing music, 20 minutes of monkey experimentation and the 18th Century bedroom are entirely realistic.

No inspiration from Artaud's theatre of cruelty at all. None. 'Surrealism' isn't an adjective you'd apply to it. Not even in reference to the movement. You get a prize for your rational critical thinking skills.
