Was there an old black and white TV show about some kid who has hallucinations, or imaginary friends or maybe ghosts that hang out with him of these two old man, one of which is a grumpy, bossy guy and the other is a kind, but cheesy old man and they can only be seen by this kid.

I remember the grumpy old man waking up the kid and the kid had chicken pox, and the cheesy old man said, "You're more spotty than "Some sport team featured around salami with specks in it", they lost the world series because they were always out to lunch!"

Or was this just a dream I made up in my head for the best TV show ever?
