It was financed by brazilian government through a TV series contest the project won to make a pilot. It cost about US$150,000.00. We shot it in the city of Sao Paulo. We didn't won the financing for all 13 episodes. Recently the pilot won a best pilot prize in the Brazilian TV Festival and is going to be in the NY TV Festival. We have signed a contract with good producers that are trying to find financers and TV channels to broadcast the series.

I'm sorry to suggest "Casa das Sete Mulheres", since it's nearly 100% certain there won't be any subs for it, but it's a pretty damn good historical drama/action miniseries.

Still there could be some fun had with the title, or the "different sides" so it's good he noticed it. My guess it will play some role in the future. That's the kinda stuff you want in a long running story, ambiguity about the goals the characters are pursuing.
