And it's even kind of instinctive, you can tell when a line is cheesy, when an actor is doing a terrible job and so on, without much knowledge about acting theory or whatever. A movie is a complete package, so you certainly can see how the elements meld as a whole, or deconstruct them in hopes of finding out if the director and staff had some hidden intentions, there was some underlying meaning, if they paid attention to the visual elements or not.
The argument you're trying to make, makes me think that you're impying it's all completely random and pointless. If that were the case, there's no reason to watch movies at all, since they're all the same, completely random garbage.
