Kazumi ch 4 is translated

The dark magical girl seems to know something about Kazumi's past (and potentially have 'best friend' feeling for Kazumi)

Also, QB is back, and Jyubey (I lol'd hard because of that other Madoka comic with Jyubey in it) is rather different from his...co-worker?

Kazumi was the only manga not delayed by the long anime postponement, so it's fair to assume it's set in either a parallel world, sometime in the past before Madoka changed everything, or it's a completely independent spin-off.

That, or at the time of printing it wasn't really dealing with any apocalyptic settings that some might have found distasteful (for Madoka, it was probably that whole nature of bigass oceans and chucking buildings left and right that was a bit on the dodgy side).

It's more or less set in another part of Japan, (this is in Asanaro as opposed to Mitakihara), though at a gander I'd say it takes place before Madoka.

I think Jubey is probably unique, and I think that his black coat seems to have something to do with absorbing the darkness. I think given the number of members in the Pleiades Saints, I think shit would've gone down sooner if they had to share Grief Seeds amongst them.

We haven't seen Oriko yet but I seriously doubt it was delayed out of concern for any natural disaster scenes. At the time we though it was a prequel so the delay was puzzling (the delay on the manga for the anime obviously made sense) but now that we know it's probably a sequel, Oriko's delay makes sense from a plot-perspective. The anime may have been delayed because of sensitivity, but the manga were much more likely to be delayed because of plot revelations related to the anime. So they would have delayed Kazumi for the same reason if it applied. The fact they didn't, makes it seem unlikely.
