Little help plz?

I have tried and tried..i just cant make the background black and make it look good...can you?
Also, remove the pillow..
Resized to 800x640 for upload.
I like the contrast, but I cant get the antialiasing to work..

white backgrounds are tough

I did something like this recently- knocked out as much white as I could and used a very thin outer glow to blur the edges a bit. I also went in and fixed jaggies as needed with the brush and blur tool. It gave me a nice look for 10 minutes work.

I don't have any really great editing tools, just GIMP..
Any chance you could show how to do this?..
Ive got a few others id like to try it on...but they have more complicated backgrounds to get rid of..

This is what I was mentioning. I didn't finish it off completely, just did the first few steps. But it looks a lot better yes? See if you can do something with it.

Hey OP, the minimum for upload is 800x600. The max upload size 4megs and there isn't a pixel size max.

Why not upload the pic as your actual monitor size?

Not OP, but are you numbnuts afraid of overworking your comp from opening paint and dropping that image onto a black bg that you can make any size you want?

I mean, you can do it with one hand so at least you don't have to stop fapping.
