>>1729183Otaku, I have so many books bulging with enough history to make an undergrad's head explode. Sorry States is the tip of the iceberg. My mother owns two bookshelves full about Japanese History and culture, from Meiji era to the Fugu Plan to occupation to legends. I'm more into European and The Americas, but same deal for me. I recommend checking the Historical and Social Sciences in the Library. Look for overview books to shove in their faces, like 'Europe:A History' by Norman Davies. I cannot think of any specific books about Chinese history, and Icelandic history is mildly obscure, but a little search will find you loads.
Rape as love only works in cheesy yaoi short stories for me, thanks. Any feminist will tell you that rape is a crime of power, not passion. Anybody who believes otherwise should be regarded with care and cautiousness.
You remember the Dugard case, where a girl was kept for twelve years in a back shed? They recently had the sentencing, I think.
She had Stockholms Syndrome, which commonly develops among children who are kidnapped and held for long periods of time. Anybody who uses that as a romantic plot point deserves to be ear fucked with a power drill.
It's not *always* rape with them, but commonly that's what floats to the top in searches.
But yeah, I want to put to motion to remove rape as a plot point, and to make the combination search of 'romantic/hurt/comfort' on
FF.net illegal. I'm getting sick of it. Rape =/= Romance.
I feel bad for not uploading anything now but my files are not opening. D:
