Hey /adv/, so I have a small problem that I would really appreciate some advice on.

So there is this girl I like, and I have liked her for a while now, but the thing is she went out with another good friend of mine for about two years. (I began to have some feelings for her when they were already in a relationship).

A few months ago, she broke up with him. I still talk to both of them. He still has feelings for her, and shows hate towards people who say they like her. (She has had quite a few admirers).

Just wondering /adv/, what should I do in this situation? I like her, but I don't want my friend to hate me. I suppose I could try and not do anything at all and everything would stay the same, but I feel I should at least try you know?

Any help is appreciated.
