For some reason, I haven't been able to load any of the image boards.  The text boards will load, along with any images were posted on the image boards (meaning, if someone sent me the link and I clicked on it, it'll load).  However, trying to load up the main page or any of the image boards does not work.  It just keeps on saying it's transferring data, and it doesn't actually move anywhere.

Now, I know it's not my computer.  I was on last night and everything was fine.  I've checked my host files and my DNS (I'm using Solaris, btw), and it doesn't have any affect.  http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ says that it's up, however, a friend in Britain says that it's not loading for him either.

Is there a problem with the servers, or is my friend just dicking with me and Comcast is being gayer than usual by blocking 4chan (along with my MSN on occasion)?

How exactly does reporting work? Do the mods just get pinged with every report on IRC?

Why do I get a page like this whenever I try and view any image on 4chan?

I have weird problem.
I know it's client side and it happen suddenly. One refresh and I'm out.
I get "temporarily offline" message on all imageboards.
Only text and mainpage works, so I asking what to do here.
I tried on FF, IE, Chrome all of them same error.
Tried fresh browser.
Tried connecting to neighberhood wifi.
It's always same error.
But they works, when I connect to my wifi by phone. But it's some old java samsung, so browsing on it would be plain pain.
So, my pc decided to hate 4chan, what to do?

What is this new backwards shit? And how do i do it? help a /b/rother out!

Hey /img/, I was just curious about this, and here seemed like a good place to ask. I was just earlier telling someone about how you can link to another board by quoting a post on it, instead of by using the URL, and then it came up again in a thread.

So, like you quote a post with >>postnumber, you can do it to one on a different board with >>>/board/postnumber.

The thing is it only works between certain boards. I was just wondering if anybody can explain this. I assumed it was because it only works between boards on the same server, but I've seen a link to /hr/ from /a/, which are on orz and zip, respectively.
