This is Golden Pharaoh's face... Do you /toy/ soldiers think it would make a good face for Silver Age Martian Manhunter?

I'm planning on grabbing/modding all the original members of the Silver Age Justice League that I can. Good idea, or should I wait for the (I would hope) inevitable 5-pack of the original members?

Get a Stretch Strike Venom any way you can. He is...simply awesome. Yes I realize he has eyes and is grayish-brown with purple glitter effects. That doesn't detract from him one bit! His stretchy arm turns and acts like the one on that TheBatman Clayface. The face on there is sculpted better than the figure's too!

Why do we collect toys? Don't get me wrong, i love them. But i think i just figured out the reason for my obsession.

When i was 12 years old i saw a tv commercial for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures, i was already a huge fan of the show and had some, but when that commercial aired infront of my family i said "AWESOME!" but my mom said "Don't even think about it" i turned and looked at her and my dad told me "You're too old to play with toys"

so for the next 7 years I had to hide my collection of toys and (with whatever money i earned) go to target or TRU and buy toys and be as secretive as possible about them. Anytime my dad walked in on me Transforming Soundwave or Battling Shredder, he would just turn away very disappointedly.

I thought there was something wrong with me because i knew absolutely nobody who played with toys at my age (they were all into cars and stuff) and i felt like kind of an outcast, and anytime my friends wanted to come over i would hide all my toys in my closet. My best friend had some pretty cool TMNT's that i bought off him and he didn't seem to care that i collected them, but i didnt want anyone else to know.

This all changed when i was in the 12th grade. One of my friends and I went to Mcdonalds for lunch during school and somehow Transformers: The Movie got brought up. We talked for hours about it and casually brought up our action figure collections. Finally, someone i know that loves toys exactly like i do. Now I'm very open about my collection, buy the toys openly, and my parents dont seem to care anymore (esspecially when they saw a thing on the news about the value of vintage toys)

So i think the reason why im still into toys is because my parents tried to take them away from me and make me feel like i was too old for them (even though i was fucking 12) and this is sort of my way of feeling that its ok to do something... does anyone else have a similar story?

Why do you collect?

Any idea why the Mamimi doll never went on sale?

Well, yeah, it's featured here on this old catalog that came with the dvd box, but for some strange reason, I have never seen the Mamimi doll for sale anywhere online including the main manufacturing website and ebay.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it on display (but not for sale) at a past Comic-Con as well. With a little camera and stuff.
