when the last gen started (xbox, GC, and ps2) there was a bit on the old G4 where they subjected all three to various tests (hammer, thrown from buildings, etc) and the gc was the only thing that would work after all of them

Nuh-uh. It never worked again, except once or twice with some serious luck. Strange thing is, I tried playing Super Mario Sunshine with it and it would always freeze when loading those "secret of the..." levels. After that, even with the new Gamecube, it never loaded those levels again. I wasn't even playing SMS at the time, but somehow I guess the disc just fucked out on me.

You say that, I was playing SSB:B with some friends when my retard of a mate yanked the GC control so hard that it just sent my Wii flying into my wall about 3 metres away and tumbling to the floor. I plugged it back in and it played just the same as before.

My wall now has a dent in it, no lie, but I did punch my friend in the mouth when he did it, not thinking it would survive the retards everreaching arms of destruction
