I was playing NV with my female Hercules wielding a unique super sledge. Got the platinum chip and decided to do the DLCs. Now I started doing them in an a weird order, I did Honest Hearts first, then Old World Blues (that one was awesome and I liked the tribal themes in HH, people seem to hate that one I found it very cool) and then decided to do some exploring and side questing (found the crashed Enclave Vertibird with the unique Tesla gun, found some Enclave power helmet, but never found any Enclave).
Then I decided to start with Dead Money and I got up to the fountain where I saved and quit.
Then I fiddled around with my PC and I managed to fry my HDD by plugging the cable upside down, even if I thought it was impossible as bits of plastic prevented it, but I must have forced it in somehow.
Such a dumbass mistake. 600gb of data, gone! I really can't be fucked to play it again, maybe in a few months.
I never even completed Fallout 3 properly, started it 3 times. Completed it no DLC on my first goodie-two-shoes play trough. Then later I got all the DLCs when Zeta came out and started an real bastard playtrough and had a blast. I did Anchorage (meh), The Pitt (finally a difficult moral choice, but shit design of the DLC, hated it overall), Point Lookout (so awesome, really loved it) and then I ran out of weed and didn't feel like playing it more and left my save game there for months. When I finally picked it up again I started a new playtrough, got up to the pentagon, stopped playing, never picked it up again. I did see lot's of optional stuff in F3, but never finished Broken Steel.
