>>112486178>What "number" were you?>mfwHmm, lessee..
*Sniper, reverse-joint, lightweight cockpit, additional night sensor, chips that enhanced stability and recoil absorption
*Right cluster; 3 sniper cannons, Tarakian I believe, best ones that weren't Sabres
*Left cluster; 3 sniper rifles, Tarakian too, for dealing with trash enemies like tanks and lesser mechs and it gave me something to do while I was recycling my cannons
>implying fuel tanks*Number 31
Also had a variant with 4 Sabres I'd pull out for TDM. Rarely were fuel or ammo a concern, usually infinite, but respawning took care of that issue anyway. If we were fighting in Morskoj were the terrain is normally shitty roads, then it'd be...
*Defender, tank tracks, heavy Morskovian cockpit (not superheavy), whatever chips that wanted to fit in there
*identical clusters of cannons, I think they were the smaller Tarakian ones, so I could actually hit something before the recoil of the first gun fucked up the other two
*6 guns in total
Remember a time I had to fight another Defender-class Hound at point blank. He had plated his cockpit while I had not, so while we did our little circle-strafe dance, he tried to plug rounds into my face, while I just shot his treads. Now, when a part is destroyed, it persists but is useless, but any more damage dealt is transferred to the cockpit (the part that must survive otherwise you die) at a reduced rate.... so instead of trying to chew up his 4k HP face plate, I shot him in his 1500 HP tracks. I think he also had a cockpit made out of an African mud hut.
